Is the world getting worse??? Read on to find out more on my thoughts...

Is the world around us becoming more morally corrupt over time? Are we as a society embracing a more secular prospective? What does that mean? I would propose that the answer to this question is NO. I do not believe that sin has changed, I do not believe that the society that we live in is any worse or more corrupt than it was 2000 years ago or even 4000 years ago in the days of Noah. I purport that it is not society that digresses; so much as it is the Christian perspective that has changed. We [Christians] used to be a hard and steady culture which embraced a similar no-tolerance attitude toward sin. Now, in an attempt to be "accepted" by the world around us, we have bowed and bent our morals, and our values to match those of the world in order to have a comfortable place in that same society. As Christians we were never called to a life of comfort and self-gratification. These are principles that the world would suggest are necessary for a "good life". What good comes out of comfort? What good comes out of living for our selves?

For those who are Christians: Let's take a deeper look at our own hearts; to define these concepts; to be able to understand them better; so that we can effectively stay away from this lie that Satan has whispered in our ears for generations.

For those that are not Christians: It is not for the purpose of guilt or assimilation into my own ideals that I purpose here; it is a call for those who are Christian to follow our own principles, to live a life that is beyond our own. To have a positive effect on the world around us, not just to fill our own bellies full but to help feed those around us.
